Mentoring,
Mentoring is an effective discreet way to transfer skills and knowledge. It is based on a very personal relationship. There must be respect, and compatible personalities. The mentor must have the skills the executive does not have; yet, it is crucial that they are absorbed quickly at that point in time for the person and for the organisation to achieve the goals. Generally, the situation is that the person cannot be withdrawn from their current role to allow the steep learning curve to occur, or courses are inappropriate. It is faster to learn from those who have carried out similar tasks in. We will sit with you to define:

Ø The way you wish to work.

Our consultant will be a specialist in the field, and can carry out analysis and hands on work if required.

Facilitating
Sometimes, it is a team, which needs mentoring. In this case, facilitating relates more to giving time and space for all to contribute, and offer a framework in which to carry out the tasks. It could cover the formulation of long range plans, marketing and operations strategies, defining functional objectives, budgets, or requirement specifications for projects or activities. The synergy through out is a critical success factor, however small or large the organisation is.

When setting up partnerships with suppliers, competitors, or internal teams, it becomes most valuable to bring in an external facilitator, with an external perspective and devoid of allegiance. We have a value system and a methodology based on sound experience and academic work across many industries.

Courses and workshops
